The weather has been perfection. Right now, it is sunny outside with a lovely 64 degrees floating through the air. I can finally start wearing sweaters, beanies, wool socks with boots, heavy vests crocheted with deer and hearts, and plaid-flannel shirts galore! I can't wait to see pumpkins and fall leaves everywhere.
Here are a few recent photos from my photography class. My instructor is having us stick strictly to Manual mode. Meaning I have to determine the shutter speed, the aperture, and the ISO (light sensitivity setting) all by myself. I was scared at first. I think I even shuddered at the thought of never going back to some of my blessed automatic settings. But I have to admit... I'm better at this than I thought I would be. I'm not bragging or anything. I still have a lot I want to work on. But I'm really pleased with how the class is going. And I kind of adore shooting in Manual mode now.
