Baker at Heart?
Yesterday in class, we baked fresh baguettes and Challah bread. I loved it. I wanted to do it all day and night. The chemistry of the creation. The feeling of the dough. Kneading over and over. And then, smelling it when it comes out of the oven. And THEN, slicing a piece, buttering it up, and savoring every single bite.
Eat your heart out, generic pre-packaged bread loaves at the grocery store. I'm moving to Italy and starting my own bakery.
